The American Bully is a short-haired dog of robust appearance, powerful and strong, large dog with a well-defined muscular body and a block head. Powerful in its movement but without showing effort at the same time. The length of the front leg(measured from the tip of the elbow to the ground) should never be more than half the height of the dog at the withers, but the length of the dog should always be proportionate to the body and give the dog a compact (stubby) appearance.
